As an Orlando therapist, I’ve seen many clients who feel nervous or anxious about starting therapy and navigating a new space. I want this experience to be as seamless as possible for you. I’m sharing five things that our team thinks you should know before your first therapy session in Downtown Orlando. I hope that these tips help ease any anxiety you may be feeling. If after you read this blog you still have some questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Our office is located in downtown Orlando so I’m also getting used to this location and all the great things it offers! After reading this blog, make sure you read about some of my favorite places to visit in Downtown Orlando.
1. Parking is easy.
Many people worry that parking may be a problem since we are in downtown Orlando. We are located in the Day Building right across the street from Lake Eola. We have a huge parking lot with designated parking for visitors, so parking is easy peasy. You don’t need to build in extra time to find parking or stress about parallel parking. All you have to do is park your car and ride the elevator to the 7th floor.
2. Your Therapist will Meet You in the Waiting Room at Your Appointment Time
When you enter our suite, you’ll see plenty of comfy chairs to sit in. No need to let anyone know you’re here. Just have a seat and your therapist will come to get you at your appointment time.
3. Have a Snack and Some Tea.
While you’re waiting for your therapist, please feel free to grab a snack and some tea. We have an array of tea options and some healthy snacks available. While you wait for your therapist, please help make yourself comfortable and help yourself.
4. Restrooms are on each floor.
There are restrooms located on each floor of the building. The first floor has a wheelchair-accessible restroom, should you need one.
5. Shhh, Transformation in Progress
